This birdhouse has 2 roofs. The wind blows in between to two roofs to help keep the birds cool on a hot day like we have had this week. I bet you would want to be a bird in this birdhouse, wouldn't you? This birdhouse isn't going to hang in a tree, it is going up on a post so that the birds will be up high and safe from predators. Now you'll really want to be in this birdhouse! My dad and I built this birdhouse together. I did all the painting.

Cool Birds
This birdhouse has 2 roofs. The wind blows in between to two roofs to help keep the birds cool on a hot day like we have had this week. Yes if I was a bird I would want to be your bird house. It's cool because it keeps the birds cool and it's also a cool colour. Good job.

Are any birds living in your birdhouse yet? I really like the colour! Nice and bright! Maybe we should paint the outside of our house that colour...I'll mention it to Dave!
